I was born in a remote village called Saping, which is located at some 65 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu. I had primary education at a nearby school Shree Seti Devi Lower Secondary School. It was easy to begin school for me because my elder brother was also studying in the senior grade. So I found easier in the primary level. But my secondary education was quite different because I went to Dolalghat - the nearest market town for Saping, which takes about two hours on foot. Dolalghat is located at the y-junction of the Indrawati and Sunkoshi rivers, and has only about two dozen houses for grocery shops so renting a room in that town and managing everything myself was difficult. In the end, however, I completed the SLC (School Leaving Certificate Level, i.e. nationwide entrance exam for high school study) from the Shree Dulaleshwor Secondary School of Dolalghat.
Then, I went to Kathmandu for further education, and enrolled at the People's Campus, for Proficiency Certificate Level (or High School education). Upon completing the so-called I.Com (or 11th and 12th grades), I joined Bachelors in Business Studies (BBS) at Ratna Jyoti Multiple Campus and obtained BBS degree May 2005. In February 2006, I came to the Netherlands, and now studying at University College Maastricht from February 2007.
